Please see the below message from Kenrick Monk regarding an upcoming swimming clinic;
 
“Melbourne Vicentre (MVC), Ballarat Swimming Club and Ballarat GCO are creating community partnerships leading to a fantastic opportunity for country swimmers and coaches!
 
On Saturday August 3rd, the three clubs will come together under the guidance of MVC swimming coaches Kenrick Monk and Brad Harris for a swim clinic. This is the second year the clubs have joined forces to run the clinic, coinciding with the Ballarat GCO short course meet on Sunday August 4th. Ballarat GCO will be providing lane space and Ballarat Swimming Club will be hosting a sausage sizzle after the clinic to feed the hungry swimmers. 
 
Kenrick and Brad are well known for innovative coaching approaches and their eye for detail when it comes to technique. Both coaches are committed to bringing back old school swimming values by creating links and partnerships between metropolitan and country clubs. MVC already has a number of swimmers from the Ballarat area who train between their home club and MVC regularly, for example, over the school holidays.
 
Swim clinic details:
Date: Saturday 3rd August
Time: 2-4pm. The Ballarat Swimming Club will have a BBQ ready at 4pm. Please bring some cash for this.
Where: Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre, Gillies Street North, Ballarat
